HOW WE TREAT YoU
What ARE THEY?
At Omi Psychiatry & TMS, we offer psychiatric consultations where you will have the opportunity to meet with one of our doctors. During a one-on-one meeting, clients undergo a psychiatric assessment where your doctor explores any current imbalances in your wellbeing and learns how they are showing up in your life. Your clinician will identify types of treatment that may be helpful for your diagnosis and co-create a treatment plan unique to you and your needs. Finally, these sessions run from 45 to 60 minutes.

Genetic testing referrals
We may explore the option of a genetic testing referral for those who would like to incorporate medications into their treatment.
Additionally, just like a fingerprint, each person’s body has a unique genetic design. These differences may impact how certain medications are metabolized. By having this information at the forefront, we can be more selective in the types of medication that would yield the least amount of side effects. That way, we can further tailor treatment to you and your own unique body.
Overall, whether you’d like support managing your current psychotropic medication, or are interested in starting treatment, we can help.

NeuroStar® TMS is a safe, effective treatment for MDD (major depressive disorder) without the side effects of medication. It uses focused magnetic pulses (similar to an MRI) that revitalize inactive synapses in your brain. Further, a study of NeuroStar patients who completed treatment showed that 83% found measurable relief, and 62% experienced complete remission of their depression.
